FOZZY To Record 'Metal Gods' Cover For JUDAS PRIEST Tribute Album

November 11, 2005

Former WWE wrestler and current FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho has told Canada's ChartAttack.com that FOZZY are getting ready to go into the studio to record a cover of JUDAS PRIEST's "Metal Gods" for an upcoming all-star PRIEST tribute album. No further information is available at this time.

FOZZY have also been busy with their own music, touring in support of their latest album, "All That Remains".

The tour, which has seen the band hit Australia and the U.K. over the past few months has been a highly successful exercise in what the band call "spreading the Fozzpel."

"Our fanbase is building all around the world and it's great to be able to go over and see these people up close and say hi and have some fun," says Jericho.

The Ayatollah Of Rock And Rolla expects the fun times to continue when FOZZY take on the great white north again.

"We've had a lot of success in Canada," he says. "We've played Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg a couple times, we've been in Montreal and Canada's a great country for us. We always have good shows and the people always like to come and hang out. That's why we're looking forward to coming to kind of do an eastern Canadian tour a little bit more extensively next week."
