FU MANCHU Drummer Joins SOCIAL DISTORTION

March 12, 2010

FU MANCHU drummer Scott Reeder has joined SOCIAL DISTORTION, the legendary punk rock band from Orange County, California. Reeder will sit behind the kit for SOCIAL DISTORTION's upcoming tour of South America.

Drummer Atom Willard left SOCIAL DISTORTION earlier this week in order to continue his work with ANGELS AND AIRWAVES.

For three decades, SOCIAL DISTORTION has pushed the envelope and expanded the idea of American punk rock by blending influences from the worlds of country, blues, folk and rockabilly with its own brand of hard-driving rock 'n' roll.

SOCIAL DISTORTION has released six full-length studio albums, two compilations, one live album and two DVDs. The band is currently writing, rehearsing and recording material for a brand new studio LP, which is due for release later this year.

SOCIAL DISTORTION's last studio album, "Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll", came out in 2004.
