FULL BLOWN CHAOS Explains Tour Cancellation

July 28, 2008

New York-based hardcore/metal band FULL BLOWN CHAOS has released the following statement regarding the cancellation of the remaning dates on its Summer of Scum tour (also featuring SHAI HULUD, ELYSIA and WOE OF TYRANTS):

"It is out of our hands. Between constant catastrophic vehicle problems combined with other financial issues, all the support bands dropping off the tour and a sudden death in the family, we were forced to cancel the tour. We deeply apologize for this. We will make it up to all of our friends and fans with a make up tour. There is nothing that we love more than touring and raging out with all of you!!! We hope you understand and will come out in full force our next time around the country! [We] really do apologize to everyone. [We] miss all of you and would love nothing more to rock out and hang hard with you all. We will make this happen in the near future."

HardTimes.ca recently conducted an interview with vocalist Ray Mazzola of FULL BLOWN CHAOS. Watch the 10-minute chat below.

FULL BLOWN CHAOS's latest full-length CD, "Heavy Lies the Crown", was released in August 2007 via Ferret Music. The CD was produced by the band with Billy Graziadei of BIOHAZARD.

"A lot of bands come out every album and say that their new endeavor is their best work but I can honestly say 'Heavy Lies The Crown' is the best record we've done up to now," Mazzola previously said. "It's FULL BLOWN CHAOS channeling a lot of our influences but not adapting to that style, more utilizing those influences in our songs. . . This is the sound of us getting ready for war. Our last album was very encouraging with many positive overtones. I'm still a positive person but we've gone through so many challenges and battles with friends, family, significant others and people we know since we've become a full time band that all of those negative experiences ended up fueling our music further. Like I always tell those closest to us, if you fuck with someone in this band you're gonna end up with a song about you."

The band released two albums prior to signing with Ferret Music: "Wake the Demons" (2004) and "Within the Grasp of Titans" (2006).
