FULL BLOWN CHAOS: New Song Posted Online
June 25, 2007A new FULL BLOWN CHAOS track, entitled "Halos for Heroes", has been posted on the band's MySpace page. The song comes off the New York hardcore group's new full-length CD, "Heavy Lies the Crown", due on August 21 via Ferret Music.
"Heavy Lies the Crown" was produced by the band with Billy Graziadei of BIOHAZARD.
"A lot of bands come out every album and say that their new endeavor is their best work but I can honestly say 'Heavy Lies The Crown' is the best record we've done up to now," says vocalist Ray Mazzola. "It's FULL BLOWN CHAOS channeling a lot of our influences but not adapting to that style, more utilizing those influences in our songs. . . This is the sound of us getting ready for war. Our last album was very encouraging with many positive overtones. I'm still a positive person but we've gone through so many challenges and battles with friends, family, significant others and people we know since we've become a full time band that all of those negative experiences ended up fueling our music further. Like I always tell those closest to us, if you fuck with someone in this band you're gonna end up with a song about you."
The band — made up of Mazzola, Mike Facci (guitar),Jeff Facci (drums) and Mike "Lurk" Ruehle (bass) — released two successful albums in the last few years: "Wake the Demons" (2004) and "Within the Grasp of Titans" (2006).
