GAAHL-Fronted GORGOROTH Cancels Dates Due To Recording Schedule

"Due to GORGOROTH's recording schedule, the previously announced live dates have been revised. Dates lost will be rescheduled for next year."

GORGOROTH will enter the studio in its hometown of Bergen, Norway on August 25. Eight new tracks composed by King ov Hell (bass) will be recorded for an as-yet-untitled new album. Along with Gaahl, King and Frost (SATYRICON) on drums, the full recording lineup will include Teloch (guitar) and Ice Dale (guitar). ENSLAVED's Herbrand Larsen will once again produce GORGOROTH in the studio.
According to Gaahl and King, the Swedish appeal courts (Hovretten in Malmö) recently upheld the decision by authorities at Tingretten in the matter concerning Regain Records' unauthorized release of GORGOROTH's "True Norwegian Black Metal - Live in Grieghallen" album. Regain Records was once again found in violation of copyrights and agreements made with Gaahl and King and was ordered to cease distribution of this release.
"Live in Grieghallen" was released in June via Regain. According to a press release, the CD was recorded live at Grieghallen in Bergen, Norway by Eirik "Pytten" Hundvin and features Infernus on bass and guitar, Gaahl on vocals, and Garghuf on drums.
