GAMMA RAY: Scandinavian Tour Dates Announced

German power metallers GAMMA RAY have announced the dates for the Scandinavian/Russian legs of their "Majestic" European tour. Support on the Scandinavian portion of the trek will come from NOCTURNAL RITES and POWERWOLF. The details are as follows:

Jan. 14 - Stockholm, SWE @ Arenan
Jan. 16 - Helsinki, FIN @ Tavastia
Jan. 18 - Oslo, NOR @ Rockefeller
Jan. 19 - Göteborg, SWE @ Trädgarn
Jan. 20 - Hultsfred, SWE @ Metropol
Jan. 27 - Moscow, RUS @ Druzhba Sport Arena (no NOCTURNAL RITES and POWERWOLF)
Jan. 28 - St. Petersburg, RUS @ Yubileiny (no NOCTURNAL RITES and POWERWOLF)

GAMMA RAY's latest album, "Majestic", was recorded and mixed at Hansen Studios in Hamburg, Germany. Mastering duties were handled at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland by Mikko Karmila and Kai Hansen. The follow-up to 2001's "No World Order" includes 10 tracks which represent "all of the characteristic strengths of the band's musical career to date," the group write on their web site.
