GARY MOORE: Free 'Oh Wild One' Video Download

September 22, 2011

Eagle Vision released GARY MOORE's "Live At Montreux 2010" on September 20 on DVD, Blu-ray and CD. The set strikingly shows a major return to rock for the musician who spent years exploring the blues. In fact, in the last days of his life, Moore, who died on February 6 of this year, was working on a new rock album.

A free video download of the song "Oh Wild One" is available at Moore's official web site.

What makes "Live At Montreux 2010" so compelling is the inclusion of three never-before-released gems, "Days Of Heroes", "Where Are You Now" and "Oh Wild One", that he previewed for the Montreux audience and had fully intended to put on the album he was writing and recording at the time. The rest of the set is heavy on the 1980s rock he pioneered solo, as well as his late '60s/'70s work with Phil Lynott in THIN LIZZY and SKID ROW. And, of course, some blues.

Product description: "2010 saw Gary Moore make a return to rock music after a long period of time exploring the blues. He was writing and working on a new rock album when all was brought to a halt by his untimely death on February 6, 2011.

"This concert from Montreux in July 2010 was his last performance to be filmed. The setlist draws heavily on his hugely successful rock albums of the Eighties, stirs in a couple of his classic blues tracks with some memorable hit singles and includes three brand new songs that would have featured on the album left sadly uncompleted on his death.

"Gary Moore was one of the finest and most respected guitarists the British Isles have ever produced. This concert shows just what a talent we will miss."
