Rossdale's last release was INSTITUTE's debut album, "Distort Yourself", which came out in September 2005.
Rossdale first began writing the songs that appear on "Distort Yourself" as a side project, but it became his full-time concern when BUSH went on hiatus in 2002.
"Distort Yourself" was produced by HELMET's Page Hamilton, a longtime influence on Rossdale.
