GEIST Signs With LUPUS LOUNGE

October 17, 2008

Four years into the band's existence and after two successful album releases, GEIST, one of the most promising German black metal acts, has found a new home with Lupus Lounge. "The cooperation with Lupus Lounge fills us with pride," the band's bass player and creative mastermind Alboin says about the five-album deal. "Not only are we now on a label that does excellent work and shows immaculate taste, but we are also in the company of some of the genre's most expressive bands."

GEIST will enter Studio E in December to record its third album, "Galeere", for a spring 2009 release. Remastered versions of the band's first two records, "Patina" and "Kainsmal", will follow next fall.

GEIST is:

Alboin (bass guitar)
Cypher D. Rex (vocals)
Faruk (synthesizer & multimedia)
Hedrykk (guitars)
Larva B. Caneer (guitars)
Marlek (battery)
