GENE SIMMONS Discusses 'Sex Tape' On CNN's 'Showbiz Tonight'; Video Available

March 6, 2008

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons was a guest yesterday (Wednesday, March 5) on CNN's "Showbiz Tonight" where he offered advice to Britney Spears, and discussed the new season of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" and the video footage that recently surfaced of him having sex with a blonde model (other than his longtime love, Shannon Tweed). Watch the three-minute segment below.

Simmons and Tweed have been a couple for over 20 years and have two children, 19-year-old Nicholas and 15-year-old Sophie.

In a recent online post, Gene claimed that whoever taped the scene has been trying to make money off of it and gone so far as to blackmail and extort Simmons. Gene added that his legal team is tracking down the parties involved and ended the post asserting, "The love I have for Shannon, Soph and Nick I hope is evident in our relationship. Yes, we have a TV show, but the people in the show are real and the love you see between us is real."
