GENE SIMMONS Guests On DAVE NAVARRO's SPREAD ENTERTAINMENT

August 25, 2007

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons was a guest on Dave Navarro's Internet TV show, Spread Entertainment, this past Thursday (August 23). "Gene was, as always, the perfect guest," Navarro writes on his web site. "As an interviewer, I really didn't have to do much with him. I kind of just said welcome to the show and let him go. He had so much to say about the state of the music business and rock in general. The guy does so much that a KISS recap felt unnecessary. The real heat was turned up when his partner Shannon Tweed came on stage and pretty much took over. It was a lot of fun to witness their dynamic first hand and get into some relationship issues. Plus, rarely do we see Gene get 'shut down' so hard. Of course, it was all in fun and I felt really inspired about long lasting relationships as a result of their appearance. They really seemed like best friends and always knew what each other was about to say before they said it."

Spread Entertainment TV airs between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. PST) on Thursdays.
