GENERAL SURGERY, THE COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINERS Team Up To Record Split CD

March 7, 2003

Legendary Swedish grincore merchants GENERAL SURGERY, featuring DISMEMBER singer Matti Kärki, will team up with THE COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINERS to release split CD on Razorback Records.

"Featuring all new material from both bands, this joint cadaveric collection will clock in at over 40 minutes: reeking of morgue-ripened grind, and rife with prolixly penned patho-gore prose - guaranteed to dimidiate you like a freshly honed size 10 scalpel!" reads an official press release announcing the split CD.

"GENERAL SURGERY - the celebrated masters of gore grind - have reassembled with a collection of all new songs, crafted to dissect and eviscerate a decades worth of cadavers, including: 'Pre-Bisectal Corrosive Immersion', 'Mortuary Wars', and 'Cauterization Frenzy'."

"Professional pathologists and necropsy enthusiasts, THE COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINERS, then determine the time of death with six new medicolegal lessons designed to save you time in the morgue, including: 'Bloatation (Repugnant Refloatation)', 'Forensic Photography', and 'Cruentous Mess'."

"Witness the return of GENERAL SURGERY, in what will surely become the penultimate in pathological grind recordings!"
