GENERAL SURGERY: U.S. Tour Dates Announced

Legendary Swedish grindcore merchants GENERAL SURGERY have scheduled the following U.S. tour dates:

May 09 - Hollywood, CA @ Knitting Factory (Los Angeles Murderfest 5.0)
May 10 - Phoenix, AZ @ The PHiX
May 11 - Santa Cruz, CA @ The Blue Lagoon
May 12 - Oakland, CA @ Your House
May 13 - Portland, OR @ Satyricon
May 14 - Olympia, WA @ [to be announced]
May 22-24 - Baltimore, MD @ Sonar (Maryland Deathfest VII)

GENERAL SURGERY will release its new album, "Corpus In Extremis: Analysing Necrocriticism", in March via Listenable Records. The CD was self-produced by the band at Off Beat studio in Stockholm and was mastered at Tailor Maid in Stockholm by Peter In De Betou.

Two songs from the CD are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

GENERAL SURGERY last year parted ways with singer Grant McWilliams and replaced him with Erik Sahlström (MAZE OF TORMENT, SERPENT OBSCENE).

GENERAL SURGERY's first full-length album, "Left Hand Pathology", was released in May 2006 via Listenable Records.
