GEORGE LYNCH Lead Singer In Screaming Match With PAT TRAVERS
December 16, 2005GEORGE LYNCH band lead singer Andrew Freeman got into a shouting match with opening act, legendary '70s guitarist PAT TRAVERS on Dec. 3 prior to their show together at Jaxx, located in West Springfield, VA.
Sources say the altercation began when Travers was asked to move his RV, which was blocking Lynch's tour bus. After a short exchange with Freeman, Travers responded with expletives that resulted in a heated exchange between the two.
No charges were filed and the show went on as scheduled.
As previously reported, the tour bus for George Lynch and his backing band got sideswiped in an accident with a diesel truck on Dec. 11 after Lynch's performance in Detroit, Michigan. No injuries were reported in that incident.
Guitarist George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB) is joined in his current touring band by Freeman, drummer Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO) and bassist Marten Andersson (LIZZY BORDEN, STARWOOD). A list of remaining dates can be found at this location.
