GHOULUNATICS Begin Recording New Album

May 25, 2006

Montreal deathcore act GHOULUNATICS have issued the following update:

"We're headed out to Wild Studios to work with acclaimed producer and good friend Pierre Remillard (CRYPTOPSY, A PERFECT MURDER, etc.) (Thursday, May 25). This time around Pierre will be involved in the project from A to Z as he will be recording, mixing and mastering this one. The whole band is ready to go and we can't wait to lay down these 10 new tracks for our fifth studio album.

"This CD will be a special one and is dedicated to our Francophone fans here in the province of Quebec and all over who have supported GHOULUNATICS by coming to our shows, buying our CD's and merch, writing us and just being the best fans a band could have! Sounds a bit cheesy you might say, but it's the truth and we're proud to say it. If you've ever been to a show here in the province of Quebec, you know what I'm talking about! So get ready all you crazy lunatics, this album will be 100% in French!!

"The album will be called 'Cryogenie', and will be available in August via Galy Records in Canada and via Enragé Productions in France. We'll be touring Quebec for 9 days straight starting August 31 with French hardcore outfit TAGADA JONES and we should be heading back to Europe to tour with them for two weeks in November.

"GHOULUNATICS will only be playing four shows before September, two of those as part of a two-day festival with DISFEAR and MISERY INDEX among others.

"The band is currently seeking to secure Canadian show dates until December."
