GIRLSCHOOL Guitar To Be Auctioned For Charity
November 18, 2005Veteran British female hard rockers GIRLSCHOOL will be auctioning one of Kim McAuliffe's guitars in aid of the Essex Air Ambulance Service, according to a posting on the band's web site. More details will be made available soon.
As previously reported, GIRLSCHOOL have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Headbangers Open Air festival, set to take place July 14-15, 2006 in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany. The band recently finished recording new versions of the songs "Emergency" and "London". Both tracks are going to be available as paid digital downloads sometime this month. GIRLSCHOOL are continuing to tour in support of their first-ever live DVD, "Girlschool Live at the Garage", and their 2004 album, "Believe".
