GLEN DROVER Releases First Original Music Since Leaving MEGADETH; Audio Available

March 27, 2008

Guitarist Glen Drover has released his first piece of music since leaving MEGADETH. Glen recently wrote the intro for "The Metal Madman" radio show, and you can hear the riff-master's work over at the program's official MySpace page.

As previously reported, Glen Drover will join forces this summer with ADAGIO's Stphan Fort to record an instrumental album. The CD will contain a total of 10 songs, featuring a different "special guest" guitarist for each song. Songwriting and recording will commence shortly.

Video footage of Glen Drover playing the MEGADETH songs "Tornado of Souls" and "Dawn Patrol" and talking about his Dean guitar on February 13, 2008 at the Metal Works Institute in Ontario, Canada can be viewed below (courtesy of "An3sh").

Glen Drover left MEGADETH at the end of last year and was replaced by Chris Broderick, who has previously played with NEVERMORE and JAG PANZER.
