GLENN HUGHES Confirmed For Holland's BOSPOP Festival

Legendary vocalist/bassist GLENN HUGHES has been confirmed for the Bospop festival, set to take place July 7-9 in Weert, Holland. Also scheduled to appear are STING, SIMPLE MINDS, ALAN PARSONS PROJECT, SIMPLY RED, ROXY MUSIC and GOV'T MULE, among others. More information is available at www.bospop.nl.

Hughes recently announced "Music for the Divine" as the title of his new solo album, tentatively due in June. The CD was recorded with the aid of RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith (who is also producing the CD) and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist John Frusciante. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Oil and Water", "Frail", "Black Light", "Stepping On" and "The Valiant Denial". Also playing on the set is guitarist J.J. Marsh, who has appeared on Hughes' last several solo releases.
