GLENN HUGHES Makes Guest Appearance On THE ALCHEMIST's "Westside"

April 5, 2002

Former DEEP PURPLE/BLACK SABBATH singer Glenn Hughes makes an appearance on a new release by a band called THE ALCHEMIST, entitled Westside, which is due to be issued via the LedSled label on May 21st. According to an official press release from LedSled, “THE ALCHEMIST is the brainchild of composer/ producer/multi-instrumentalist Carl Kennedy, who most recently was the drummer in THE GREG LAKE BAND. Westside is a collection of well-crafted songs that blend intricate tribal rhythms with guitar driven passion, delivering powerful blued-eyed soul ballads. Comparisons to TRAFFIC, KING CRIMSON, SEAL, SADE, and STING come to mind.”

Other musicians appearing on Westside are Tim Pierce (guitars) and Ian Chrichton (guitars).
