Legendary rock singer Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) has inked a U.S. deal with Sanctuary Records for the release of his latest solo album, "Soul Mover".

Hughes will be issuing "Soul Mover" in Europe on January 24 via Frontiers Records.

"Soul Mover" was recorded live at Sound Image Studios in Los Angeles in the spring of 2004 and features RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS' Chad Smith on drums, JJ Marsh on guitar and Ed Roth on keyboards. The album also features ex-RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS and JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro on the title track.

Regarding the deal with Sanctuary, Hughes said in a statement, "It is a positive move forward and I think it is the right label for me to be on."
