GOAT THE HEAD To Support 1349 In U.K.

Norwegian death metallers GOAT THE HEAD have been confirmed as main support for 1349 on their U.K. mini tour in October. The dates are as follows:

Oct. 16 - Glasgow, Barfly
Oct. 17 - Nottingham, Junction 7
Oct. 18 - London, Underworld
Oct. 19 - Sheffield, Corporation

Musically ferocious, uncouth and coarse in appearance, the Trondheim-based GOAT THE HEAD prefers to keep things "simple and organic," an attitude that is mirrored in its live shows, peppered with nudity and primitive rituals.

GOAT THE HEAD will be showcasing its debut album material at Hulen in Bergen on Saturday, August 25 at 14:00. The band's video single, "Darwinian Minions" — an epic track whose no-holds-brutality will last a whopping 16 seconds — will open the uncouth celebrations then.

GOAT THE HEAD's debut CD, "Simian Supremacy", will be released via Tabu Recordings on October 22 (Norway) and November 19 (Europe).
