GOATWHORE To Play Hometown CD-Release Show Tonight

GOATWHORE, the New Orleans-based band featuring vocalist L. Ben Falgoust II (SOILENT GREEN) and guitarist Sammy Duet (ACID BATH, CROWBAR),will play The High Ground in Metairie, Louisiana tonight (Friday, September 22) to commemorate the release of its new Metal Blade CD, entitled "A Haunting Curse". The show is all ages and the first 100 people that get through the door will get a free GOATWHORE poster and sticker. Support at the concert will come from BLOODCHURN, SOUTHERN WHISKEY REBELLION and DE CAPA PREDA. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.

GOATWHORE's third full-length album, "A Haunting Curse" was recorded at Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida with producer Erik Rutan (MORBID ANGEL, HATE ETERNAL). The band shot a video for its new track "Alchemy" with director David Brodsky (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, THE RED CHORD, THE ACACIA STRAIN) and the MyGoodEye crew on August 6 in New York City.

GOATWHORE has been announced as one of the support acts for CELTIC FROST on their current North American tour beginning on October 3 in San Francisco, California.
