GOD DETHRONED Replaces SATYRICON At Holland's ARNHEM METAL MEETING

November 30, 2007

Dutch death metallers GOD DETHRONED have issued the following update:

"It has been some time since there has been an update on our website, 'cause we've been doing a lot of 'behind the scenes' things. So no panic, we're still here and we'll start writing new songs for our upcoming album soon.

"Anyway, today we were asked to substitute one of the bands [SATYRICON] on the Arnhem Metal Meeting [in Arnhem, Holland] bill... which means we're playing TOMORROW (December 1st) already! A very last minute concert, but seen the great organization and the good response we had on previous editions, we just couldn't refuse this offer. The festival is already sold out, so we hope all our fans in our home country already bought their ticket.

"Hope to see all of you crazy fucks in front of the stage! We'll definitely rock out, as it has been some time since we've been playing Holland."

GOD DETHRONED's latest album, "The Toxic Touch", was released in the U.S. in November 2006 via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded at Soundlodge Studios in Germany with producer Joerg Uken. Mastering was handled at Wisseloord Studios in Holland.
