GOD FORBID: 'Fury of The Fall' Recap; New Video Posted Online

November 10, 2005

GOD FORBID recently wrapped up a highly-successful run on the Decibel magazine-sponsored Fury of the Fall tour with MESHUGGAH, THE HAUNTED and MNEMIC, which immediately leads them into a brief headlining stint with AGENTS OF MAN on the East Coast. The group will proceed to head over to Europe for a massive trek alongside THE HAUNTED and GOD DETHRONED, taking them to the end of the year.

GOD FORBID just completed a stunning new video for the track "To the Fallen Hero" with acclaimed director Shane Drake (FALL OUT BOY, HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS) this past weekend, and the concept behind the clip is definitely going to catch people's attention. Look for it to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut early next year. Click here to check out some photos from the shoot. Their last video, "The End of the World", shot by director Dave Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, FIGHT PARIS, THE RED CHORD),made its "Metal Asylum" and "Headbanger's Ball" debut this past week, and it has also just been posted online at this location.

Doc Coyle (guitars, vocals) further describes his thoughts on the latest tour and video shoot: "We just got home from the Fury of the Fall tour, and we want to thank MESHUGGAH, THE HAUNTED, MNEMIC and their crews for a great tour. I really think this was one of the best metal tours of the fall and one of our personal favorite tours from a fan standpoint. We wish everyone well. Fortunately, we'll see our friends in THE HAUNTED in a couple weeks when we start our European tour with them, which is gonna kick fucking ass.

"After a couple days off in L.A., we shot a brand new video for 'To the Fallen Hero' with director Shane Drake. He is an incredible director, who has a focused vision. I don't want to give away too much, but I can say that this video is not the typical metal video, and can't I wait until it's done.

"There are a lot of things in the works, so the band is psyched about what the next year has to offer. As for now, we're doing a few shows in the Northeast this weekend with our friends in AGENTS OF MAN and CANNAE before we head to Europe with THE HAUNTED and GOD DETHRONED. Currently, there is a plan to do another U.S. tour in January-February. It's still in the works, so there's not much to talk about now. I can announce our recently confirmed European run with TRIVIUM and BLOODSIMPLE in March, which is going to be massive. Can't wait for that one. I have to get back to my three-day mini vacation. We'll see everyone on the road. Peace."

GOD FORBID's critically acclaimed new album, "IV: Constitution of Treason", entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at No. 119 in its first week of release.
