GOD FORBID, SUIDAKRA Added To OVERKILL's U.S. Tour

New Jersey thrash metal veterans OVERKILL will embark on the "Electric Age Tour" in April with support from GOD FORBID, DIAMOND PLATE and SUIDAKRA.

OVERKILL will release its new album, "The Electric Age", in North America on March 27 via eOne Music. The CD will be made available in Europe on March 30 through Nuclear Blast Records.

"The Electric Age" was recorded and mixed at Gain Studios in New Jersey, owned and operated by OVERKILL bassist D.D. Verni.

OVERKILL is Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth (vocals),D.D. Verni (bass, backing vocals),Derek "The Skull" Tailer (rhythm guitar, backing vocals),Dave Linsk (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Ron Lipnicki (drums).

Video footage of OVERKILL performing during the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise — which set sail on January 23 aboard the Royal Caribbean Majesty Of The Seas from Miami, Florida to George Town, Cayman Islands and returned four days later — can be seen below.

OVERKILL utilized a stand-in drummer — their soundman Eddy Garcia, who was previously a member of the El Paso, Texas band PISSING RAZORS — for the 70000 Tons Of Metal shows after their regular drummer, Ron Lipnicki, broke his hand.
