As previously reported, GOD'S ARMY recently entered the studio in Germany to begin recording their debut album, tentatively due in early 2006. The group describe their music as "a powerful mixture of British-style heavy metal with more up-to-date beats and riffs thrown in to beef up the overall sound. . . The band focuses on catchy melodies, strong riffs and a pounding rhythm section with the intention of steering away from typical European power metal and keep their arrangements simple, more traditional, and more to the point!" Regarding the group's name, GOD'S ARMY write in a press release, "There is no religious concept behind the music, rather the songs are about everything and everybody and what ever affects humanity as a whole. This message is summed up in the title track: 'God's Army'."
