GODHEAD Frontman's Tsunami Relief Benefit Song Available On iTUNES

February 24, 2005

"Forever In Our Hearts", a song written about and to raise monies for the relief of tsunami victims will be available as a download from iTunes as of March 1, 2005. It can also be downloaded off the official site for this project at www.tsunamireliefsong.org.

"Forever In Our Hearts" was written by Jason Miller (GODHEAD) and produced by Jay Baumgardner at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, California. The entire project was organized by Michael J. Miller's manager, with the help of the William Morris Agency, On Point Productions and others. The recording features performances by Brian McKnight, Mya, Nate Dogg, Fefe Dobson, Ben Moody, members of P.O.D., PAPA ROACH, CHEVELLE, LIT, 311 and countless others. On January 23, many of these performers along with a myriad of actors (Eric Roberts, Ming Na, Roselyn Sanchez, 8-year-old Billie Bruno, etc.) and other musicians gathered at NRG to record the chorus. All the proceeds from the downloads will be donated to Music for Relief which then divides the donations among the various organizations involved in helping the victims of last December's tsunami. A music video is being prepared out of hours of footage shot by Chameleon Entertainment's Damon Harman, who, like all the performers and others involved, donated not only his time, but equipment and services. The video will be serviced to all international outlets and there is talk about a full-length DVD which would also be for sale to benefit the victims of this terrible tragedy.

"I am touched by how many people joined to help with this," says Miller, who came up with the song idea when he found himself feeling powerless to help the victims as he watched the footage on television. "I think the great thing about a song and a DVD is that they can be available for weeks and months to come — still raising funds to help long after the media will have had to move on to other events. For as long as there is a need, I hope the recording can offer some help."
