"The Paths We Choose", which Erna described as "a snapshot of the first 30 years of my life," was released in February.
As previously reported, a woman injured in a car crash involving Erna has had her condition upgraded to serious, according to North Andover, Massachusetts' Eagle-Tribune. Lindsay Taylor, 25, was in a coma and on life support following the April 11 collision. Taylor was a backseat passenger in a Toyota Camry that was struck from behind by a Hummer H3 driven by Erna, who was not injured in the accident. The crash remains under investigation by state police, but so far, no citations or charges have been filed against any of the drivers involved.
Erna was given the key to the city of Lawrence, Massachusetts on January 16. A "teary-eyed" Erna, who spent his formative years in the town, was presented with the key by Councilman Nunzio DiMarca, who said, "(Even) when he was washing dishes at my brother's restaurant, he's always been a very polished young man." Erna said in his speech that the town "molded me into the man I have become."
