GORGUTS To Release DVD, Live Album

October 8, 2005

Long-running Canadian death metallers GORGUTS will be issuing a DVD next year via Great White North Records. A posting at the Great White North web site reads as follows:

"We are pround to announce that [Great White North Records] will be releasing a GORGUTS DVD in 2006! Luc Lemay [GORGUTS guitarist/vocalist] agreed on our terms and we are all pretty excited about this project. The DVD will include a concert filmed at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, while the band was on tour [in support of] 'Obscura'. It will also includes tons of cool pictures and interviews with Luc and Steeve Hurdle... This is slated for a mid 2006 release; a lot of work has to be done... But to keep you on your toes for the DVD, we are also releasing a live CD in early 2006... This concert was recorded in 1993 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, during the band's only European tour. This has been circulating for a while now in the underground and Luc decided to make it officially available through GWN. T-shirts and hats will also be available to commemorate the release of both projects!"
