GOSPEL OF THE HORNS Reforms Once Again, Plans European Tour

January 25, 2007

Two weeks after it was announced that the band had once again split up, Australia's renowned blackened death/thrash outfit GOSPEL OF THE HORNS has reformed — initially as a three-piece (featuring bassist/vocalist Howitzer, drummer Hellcunt and guitarist Masochist) — with plans to tour Europe later in the year. The group's highly anticipated second full-length album, "Realm of the Damned", is due for release in early March via Invictus Productions.

GOSPEL OF THE HORNS previously split in 1996 but reformed a year later.

As previously reported, a brand new GOSPEL OF THE HORNS track, entitled "Strength Through Fear", has been posted online on the MySpace page of Invictus Productions.

According to the Invictus Productions, the long-awaited follow-up to 2002's "A Call to Arms" sees GOSPEL OF THE HORNS "moving forward in style but retaining that GOSPEL OF THE HORNS rhythm and feel so evident on 'Eve of the Conqueror' [2000 debut EP]. . . Heavy, raw, with a class touch of MOTÖRHEAD, CELTIC FROST, RAZOR, SODOM (to name some obvious references)."
