GOTTHARD Name Upcoming CD

Switzerland's GOTTHARD have set "Human Zoo" as the title for their forthcoming CD, which is currently being mixed in Los Angeles with producer Marc Tanner (THE CALLING) for a late February release.

The upcoming album marks the first time the group have worked without longtime collaborator, songwriter/producer Chris Von Rohr (ex-KROKUS bassist),who had previously stated on Swiss television that he felt that the band had reached the absolute pinnacle with their last CD, "Homerun", and that it was time for him and the group to move on. "[We] needed a breath of fresh air and this was not happening after such a long time," the band stated via their official web site. "It wasn't about the band anymore, they were just feeding their ego. That is logical when you look at the long but successful working relationship."
