GOTTHARD's 'Tu Pasión' Single Lands On Spanish Chart

July 12, 2006

GOTTHARD's new Spanish-language single, "Tu Pasión" (the Spanish version of the track "Lift U Up" from the band's 2005 album "Lipservice"),has entered the Spanish single chart at position No. 19.

GOTTHARD recently scored their 10th consecutive No. 1 album in their home country of Switzerland. "Made in Switzerland" — which beat the latest releases from TOOL and PEARL JAM — is a CD/DVD set that contains 17 songs that were recorded during a concert at the Hallenstadion in Zürich in December 2005. In addition to the complete concert, the DVD includes "making-of" footage and many new photos.

GOTTHARD's latest studio effort, "Lipservice", was certified platinum in Switzerland in January 2006 for sales in excess of 40,000 copies. The ceremony took place in Zürich during the "PISA Finals." The CD is reportedly approaching double-platinum status.
"Lipservice" was released in Europe last June via G.Records/Nuclear Blast.
