GRACE WILL FALL To Release 'Second Album' In April
March 4, 2009Swedish hardcore punk rock five-piece GRACE WILL FALL has inked a deal with Glasstone Records for the release of its new CD, "Second Album". Due in other parts of Europe on April 3 via Midsummer Records, the LP was recorded and produced in the band's own studio called HoboRec and was mixed by GRACE WILL FALL singer Ulf. The aim for the album was to write something original but memorable. "To just make something different would be quite easy, to make it different and memorable, that's the tricky part," the group says.
GRACE WILL FALL formed in Jönköping, Sweden in 2002 with the basic, simple idea to create wild hardcore punk rock and have a blast doing it, taking a wide rang of influences through TRAGEDY, BEN FOLDS, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, LAMB OF GOD, CLUTCH, SOUNDGARDEN, BJÖRK and NORMA JEAN.
GRACE WILL FALL quickly achieved national airplay and was invited onto various compilations. In 2004 they then released a split 7" with sludge doom legends COUNTERBLAST and another in 2006 with punk/hardcore act M:40.
In 2008, the band played shows in seven different countries and at the same time recorded songs for a second album in between tours.
GRACE WILL FALL plans on touring the western parts of Europe (Holland, France, Switzerland, Western Germany) from April 3 to April 11 before hitting the U.K. in June.
