GRAVE To Begin Writing New Album In The Fall

August 31, 2009

Guitarist/vocalist Ola Lindgren of Swedish death metallers GRAVE has issued the following update:

"First of all, a big thanks go out to all of you fans who showed up at the summer festivals the past month. Especially Summer Breeze [in Germany] was very impressive. To see that massive amount of people thrashing at that early hour of the day made a great impression on us. Also the Brutal Assault show [in the Czech Republic] was very satisfying and another highlight to remember. Thanks again...

"For the fall, we are planning to write material for our ninth yet-untitled studio album, which is scheduled for release sometime before the summer 2010. We will keep you updated with the progress and also studio reports when that time comes.

"In November we hook up with NILE once again for 31 killer shows around Europe. Also on the bill are our Brazilian metal brothers KRISIUN. We toured with both these bands before and it always worked out great so this is gonna be five brutal weeks with some amazing shows, for sure."

Fan-filmed video footage of GRAVE's performance at this year's Brutal Assault festival, which was held August 6-8, 2009 in Pevnost, Josefov, Czech Republic, can be viewed below.

GRAVE's eighth album, "Dominion VIII", was released in April 2008 via Regain Records.

GRAVE's live DVD, entitled "Enraptured", came out in Europe on November 27, 2006 via Metal Mind Productions and in the U.S. on February 1, 2007 via MVD Visual.

The band shot the DVD with seven cameras on August 24, 2006 at the Stodola Club in Warsaw, Poland. The set, which was made available as a standard DVD edition and a DVD+CD limited edition, also features rare live footage, video clips and more.
