GREAT WHITE To Perform At 'Rock Out For Ovarian Cancer' Benefit
June 3, 2008'80s rock band GREAT WHITE will performing on June 7, 2008 at Romer's Catering and Entertainment Facility in Celina as part of a fundraiser for ovarian cancer. The event, dubbed "Rock Out for Ovarian Cancer", is being held to raise money for ovarian cancer research and awareness. Net proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Cancer Society and will be earmarked for ovarian cancer research and education. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with local Doctors and Oncologists speaking to promote ovarian cancer awareness.
At 8:00 p.m., the opening band, TEAYS VEIN from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, will perform. At 9:00 p.m. a memorabilia auction will be held featuring autographed items from GREAT WHITE. GREAT WHITE will take the stage at 10:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are just $40 each.
A very limited number of V.I.P. tickets are available for $100 each and include a private meet-and-greet with GREAT WHITE after the show.
