GREEN CARNATION Featured On MLB 2K6 Video Game

April 7, 2006

Norway's prog masters GREEN CARNATION are stepping up to plate in 2006 — in the video game market.

The band's track "Pile of Doubt", from 2005's "The Quiet Offspring" (The End Records) is featured on the recently released popular baseball game franchise Major League Baseball 2K6. This is the only baseball game released for all major platforms such as PS2, PC, Game Cube, Xbox and Xbox 360.

Commented GREEN CARNATION keyboardist Kenneth Silden: "This is a great opportunity for the band to gain new fans. We are now taking the backdoor in to many homes with this game, and hopefully we will gain some new listeners. And of course, it will be a thrill to smash a home run accompanied by 'Pile of Doubt'."

GREEN CARNATION completed their first-ever five-week tour of North America in support of "The Acoustic Verses", available now on The End Records.
