GREEN CARNATION Preparing For Busy Week

July 3, 2006

After working with their other projects since the U.S. tour in February-April, the members of GREEN CARNATION have gathered over the course of the last few days to prepare for a busy week's worth of gigs, showcases and radio performances — all of them in their hometown, Kristiansand, Norway.

Commented singer Kjetil Nordhus: "The highlight will, of course, be the concert at the Quart Festival on Thursday, but it seems to be quite a bit of interest in our 'Acoustic Lunch' session on Wednesday.'

GREEN CARNATION's appearance at the Quart Festival is scheduled to take place Thursday, July 6 at the Plenen venue beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Sublife Productions announced last week that the latest studio CD from GREEN CARNATION, "The Acoustic Verses", has been released in South America through Hellion Records (Brazil). The Hellion version of the album features the JON ENGLISH cover song "Six Ribbons", which is only available to Russian and South American fans.

"Six Ribbons" was originally featured on the limited and now sold-out EP, "The Burden is Mine Alone", which was released late 2005 through Sublife Productions and Profound Lore in North America. The EP release celebrated GREEN CARNATION's 15th anniversary as well as the formation of Sublife Productions, now the home of such artists as GREEN CARNATION, HARM, THE ALLSEEING I and HATEPULSE.
