GRIFFIN: More 'Unmixed' Album Samples Available

September 25, 2006

Norwegian heavy metal act GRIFFIN is currently in the studio with engineer Rune Stavnesli and producer Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND) working on its fifth album, entitled "The Ultimate Demise".

Commented the band: "Last night we did the last of the basic vocals, guitars, bass, etc. Our former singer Pete Beck even showed up surprisingly and helped us with some backing vocals. There are still things to be done, like samples, some back-up vocals, editing, cutting and some guitars before we enter the phase of mixing."

Check out several unmixed samples from GRIFFIN's upcoming CD:

"Losing Control" (audio)

GRIFFIN released its fourth full-length album, entitled "Lifeforce", in August 2005 via Massacre Records. The Japanese and European editions of the album contained a bonus track called "Unforgiver", featuring Andy LaRocque on lead guitar.

GRIFFIN, who enlisted vocalist Rolf Bakken to front the group following the departure of Pete Beck, supported KING DIAMOND on a European tour in May and June.
