GRIND INC. Parts Ways With Second Vocalist

May 26, 2009

German death metallers GRIND INC. have issued the following update:

"The band [has] decided to part their way with Thomas Strater on second vocals due to musical differences and circumstances of life. It was a long-[time-coming] decision and we want to thank Thomas for the last years of musical partnership.

"The band will continue as a four-head combo so there won't be any replacement in the camp of GRIND INC.

"We're still working on new material for the next album which can be expected in late 2009."

GRIND INC.'s third album, "Sudden State of Hate", was released in 2008 via Twilight Vertrieb. The follow-up to 2006's "Inhale the Violence" was recorded at Ezy Soundz Studio in Krefeld with producer Carsten "Cazy" Schmidt and features artwork by Björn Goosses of Killustrations.com.

GRIND INC. started out in 2001 as a side project of HATE FACTOR and NIGHT IN GALES members. The point was "to make the most brutal music possible without neglecting groove and having shitloads of fun," according to the band's official bio.

The group's debut album, "Executed", was released in May 2005.
