Guitarist AMY SCHUGAR Pens Track For Wrestler HAVOK

August 20, 2004

Acclaimed female guitarist/songwriter Amy Schugar has finished writing and recording an all-instrumental track for an Arizona-based wrestler named Havok. "This song is a customized, personalized song just for him," Amy writes on her web site. "When he walks out on to the stage (all 6 foot 7 of him),this song pumps up the crowd!! It sure was fun to write and he is a part of the Southwest Wrestling Federation." Check out the song at this location.

Amy Schugar, a resident and native of Phoenix, started playing guitar while attending Cortez High School. Her continued efforts resulted in her making a CD with legendary guitarist Michael Schenker (known from SCORPIONS, UFO, and MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, a.k.a. MSG) that soon followed with a U.S. tour in the winter of 2003, where she was very well received by Michael Schenker fans. Amy was mentioned in the March and April 2004 issues of Guitar World magazine, and in the March 2004 issue of Guitar One magazine as well.
