Guitarist BORISLAV MITIC Performs To Sold-Out Crowds In Serbia

May 31, 2004

Shrapnel Records guitarist Borislav Mitic has just returned from Europe after his promotional tour in Serbia.

"It was amazing to play again for the Serbian audience," Mitic said in a statement. "I played a couple of concerts with my band, featuring Steva Nimcevic on bass and Lewis Levesque on drums, and it all went across very well. To my surprise, the audience knew all the songs by heart — even if they were instrumental! The shows were sold-out and it was altogether a great experience. I also made a master class and numerous media performances including interviews on some popular radio shows and a guesting on a very watched TV show.

"Now I am back to my projects... I am finishing off the new album which should be ready by Fall 2004. And after that I will hopefully be on the road again."

Photos from Borislav's concert in Belgrade have been posted online at his web site. Audio and video clips from the show will be added soon.
