Guitarist DAN CASTRO Quits GOTHIC KNIGHTS, MAGUS BEAST

September 12, 2007

Guitarist/vocalist Dan Castro has "decided to leave GOTHIC KNIGHTS and MAGUS BEAST in order to have more time and energy to put into CASTROFATE," he writes in a statement. "For the last four years I have worked with GOTHIC KNIGHTS on the songs for the follow-up to 2003's 'Up From The Ashes' and had a blast playing alongside them on stage. And for the last three years I played the bass for MAGUS BEAST on alot of great shows and recorded the bass tracks for their debut album/follow-up to 1996's AGRESSOR [pre-MAGUS BEAST] 'Say Your Prayers' album. The time has come for me to move on, and I'd like to thank both bands for the great times and experiences, and all the help and support they've given me for CASTROFATE. They will always be brothers in metal. I wish them all the best of luck and thank them for being so understanding of my need to move ahead on my own path in metal."

CASTROFATE is looking for a new drummer and bassist. Interested parties can contact the band at [email protected].
