Guitarist 'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Begins Work On New SEBASTIAN BACH Album

June 23, 2006

Guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM, SEBASTIAN BACH) has issued the following update:

"Been in the works for a while, but I'm proud to unveil a new face for www.metalmike.net. We made things easier to navigate. As previously you'll still get my 'Battle Tests', 'Ask Metal Mike' and 'Tour Diaries' columns. We will also continue the tradition of a 'Monthly Contest' where we give away things from my touring trecks, and selected merchandise items. Hope you'll dig it.

"In the news update, I'm in Los Angeles right now working on the new album with Sebastian Bach. This one will be worth the wait, both for the fans and for Baz. The first leg of our GUNS N' ROSES tour went unbelievable. I'll try to get some of the madness described in the Tour Diaries column when I get some time. And some parts of it shall only remain in my tired drunken memory, ha. It was also awesome to come back to my home country of Poland and finally play there. What an awesome way to return. It was a blast."

PAINMUSEUM recently completed the East Coast Violence Tour 2006 in support of their debut album, "Metal for Life". "Metal for Life" features Chlasciak, Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, ICED EARTH),Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS, DEATH, TESTAMENT) and newcomer Tim Clayborne. Mixing duties were performed by Roy Z (JUDAS PRIEST, HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON),with mastering by James Murphy (DISINCARNATE, DEATH, TESTAMENT). "Metal for Life" also features additional vocal performances from Joe Comeau (TAD MOROSE, OVERKILL, ANNIHILATOR).
