Guitarist RICH WARD: It Could Take A Year Before New STUCK MOJO Album Comes Out

March 29, 2006

Reunited Atlanta-based rap-metal pioneers STUCK MOJO are continuing work on their new album, "Southern Born Killers", at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, U.K. with producer Andy Sneap (NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY, MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS). Joining guitarist Rich Ward (also in FOZZY) and rapper/frontman Bonz in STUCK MOJO's current lineup are FOZZY/DUKE bassist Sean Delson and the band's latest addition, drummer Eric Sanders.

Commented Ward: "Using all of my collective good and bad experiences in this 'business' as my compass, we will be in no hurry to put this record out. Honestly, I'd rather sell it out of the trunk of my car, than give it away to a label who will not show it the commitment that I require.

"I'm currently at Sneap's recording guitars and I assure you that this one will be worth the wait. My first goal is to finish the greatest record that human ears have experienced. Once the record has been completed, we'll begin the task of finding it an appropriate home. It could take months before this record hits the shelves, maybe a year. Who knows? I promise that I will have samples posted on [Ward's official] site in the coming weeks. In addition to that, all the summer tour dates will include listening parties for the new record. For now, that's the best that I can do.

"Thanks for the love and support, I promiss to make you proud to be a MOJO fan. This much I'd bank on."
