Guitarist RON JARZOMBEK Working On Two Separate Instructional DVDs

October 22, 2007

Guitarist Ron Jarzombek (WATCHTOWER, SPASTIC INK, BLOTTED SCIENCE) has issued the following update:

"Several months ago, I did a bit of touring with Marty Friedman [ex-MEGADETH guitarist] in Europe and Japan. The shows were recorded and filmed and have since been released by Avex Entertainment in Japan as 'Exhibit A: Live in Europe' (CD) and 'Exhibit B: Live In Japan' (DVD),respectively.

"I'd like to thank Marty for asking me again to help him get his solo material out there as well as Chris Catero and Jeremy Colson for kicking ass and the good times on the road. I hope we can do it again sometime! Special thanks go out to the folks at Avex and everyone involved for coordinating everything and putting on a first-class operation in Japan.

"I'm now getting back to my instructional guitar DVD, and it's looking like it will be on two separate DVDs. After releasing BLOTTED SCIENCE, I realized that there were too many examples and concepts that fit together and there needed to be a two-part release to cover everything. I'm looking at doing two two-hour videos with playing examples, theoretical concepts, and animated explanations, featuring songs and excerpts from both SPASTIC INK CDs, both my solo albums, and the just-released 'The Machinations of Dementia' CD [from BLOTTED SCIENCE]."
