GUNS N' ROSES Announce London Date

May 16, 2006

GUNS N' ROSES have announced a very special one-off date in the U.K. as a warm-up for their appearance at this year's Download Festival, according to NME.com.

The band will return to London Hammersmith Apollo on June 7 for their first show at the venue in almost 20 years.

Last time they performed at the indoor venue was during their "Appetite For Destruction" tour with GN'R's original lineup in 1987.

The gig will be GUNS N' ROSES' first in the U.K. since they performed at the London Arena on August 26, 2002.

Tickets for the show are priced £37.50 and will go on sale on Friday, May 19 at 9:00 a.m.

Support will come from Californian rockers AVENGED SEVENFOLD.
