GUNS N' ROSES: San Francisco Dates Announced
August 15, 2006GUNS N' ROSES will reportedly play two San Francisco dates at The Warfield in late September. Tickets for the gigs are priced at $75 and will go on sale this Sunday (August 20). The band's U.S. itinerary is now shaping up as follows:
Sep. 16 - Las Vegas, NV @ The Joint
Sep. 17 - Las Vegas, NV @ The Joint
Sep. 20 - San Francisco, CA @ The Warfield
Sep. 21 - San Francisco, CA @ The Warfield
Sep. 23 - Devore, CA @ Inland Invasion 2006
***NOTE: The above-listed dates — with the exception of the Inland Invasion 2006 concert — have yet to be officially confirmed by the band's management.
GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year.
GUNS N' ROSES' "Greatest Hits" collection, which was originally issued in March of 2004, was certified triple-platinum on April 11, 2006 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of three million copies. The CD sold more than 13,000 copies in the United States last week alone (week ending August 6),bringing the total number of copies sold since its release to 3.09 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
