As previously reported, GWAR has inked a European deal with AFM Records. The band's new album, "Lust in Space", will be released in Europe on August 21 (three days earlier, August 18, in North America via Metal Blade Records).

GWAR is streaming the new song "Let Us Slay" on the band's MySpace page.

LACUNA COIL recently launched a tour blog at GuitarWorld.com.

Fans can read about the day-to-day happenings on the band's first U.S. headlining tour in over two years via weekly blog posts from guitarist Cristiano "Pizza" Migliore.

LACUNA COIL's latest album, "Shallow Life", has sold 62,000 copies in the United States since its April 21 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD was recorded in September/October at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, California with producer Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with LINKIN PARK, TRAPT, AVRIL LAVIGNE, GOOD CHARLOTTE, THE VERONICAS, PEARL JAM, TRUST COMPANY and DURAN DURAN.
