GYPSY PISTOLEROS To Record New Album This Summer

U.K. flamenco sleaze rockers GYPSY PISTOLEROS will enter the studio in August/September 2010 to record a new album entitled "Duende!!", due before the end of the year through Bad Reputation Records. According to to a press release, the new CD "will have more of a flamenco, rumba edge to it (without losing the rock and roll, punky edge),with guest appearances from the Reyes family and other esteemed flamenco stars." It will be produced by "the Godfather of Glam," Mike Chapman (THE SWEET, MUD, SUZI QUATRO, BLONDIE, PAT BENATAR, THE KNACK).

GYPSY PISTOLEROS' latest mini-album, "Welcome To The Hotel De La Muerte", was released in Europe as a five-song EP in October via Bad Reputation Records. The bulk of the recording sessions was completed at Robannas Studio in Birmingham with Miguel Seco while the main vocals and lead guitar were tracked at Mighty Atom Studio in Wales with producer Joe Gibb (JANE'S ADDICTION, CATATONIA, LEFTFIELD, THE KINKS, THE CURE, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND). The cover artwork was created by Jo Burgon.
