H.I.M. Launch 'Heartagram Tattoo Project'
March 16, 2005Finnish goth-metallers H.I.M. have launched the "Heartagram Tattoo Project." Just take a photo of any "Heartagram" tattoos you have on your body, then e-mail it to the band. They are collecting images for a project to be revealed later in 2005 and want their fans to be involved. More information is available at this location.
As previously reported, H.I.M. will be releasing a new DVD, entitled "Love Metal Archives Vol. 1", in Europe in late April/early May. The disc will reportedly contain video or live versions of 53 songs, rare interviews and other special extras. No further information is currently available.
The new H.I.M. album, which is presently untitled, will reportedly be recorded at the Paramour studio in L.A. with producer Tim Palmer (OZZY OSBOURNE, SEPULTURA) and is expected to be released in September/October via Sire Records. H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo told the Finnish Iltalehti newspaper in early January that he planned to write 13 songs for the album over a two-month period, because "I do my best work under pressure," he reportedly said.
